Frustrated by the lack of compatibility options and the endless swipe left/ swipe right of contemporary dating apps, 3 sisters in the SF Bay area worked together to create a different kind of dating app, something with a more meaningful impact; this is how Coffee Meets Bagel was born. After pitching their app on the hugely popular Shark Tank TV show (they rejected the Sharks’ offers btw!) they used that exposure to grow a following that put their app on the map.
Now with over 10 million users, Coffee Meets Bagel is a leading and innovative dating app that brings couples together through curated matches and meaningful connections.
Coffee Meets Bagel has been working with Filmtwist since 2021. With our services in Creative Content, we were asked to make a promotional video for them highlighting some amazing couples that started their love stories through the app. Utilizing our extensive network of production teammates across the nation, we produced video shoots in diverse cities, such as New York City, LA, SF Bay Area and even Orlando, FL. Frame by frame, we aimed to encapsulate the very essence of these love stories: their beginnings, their journeys, and the promise they held for the future. Some of the work we’ve produced for Coffee Meets Bagel include a promotional video, investor video, and a retreat video that celebrated the origin of the company.
