Summit Leadership Academy is a free, public charter school that provides rigorous academics and
public service education that works to develop their students into future leaders. Their unique
approach is heavily rooted in the three main public service fields: Law Enforcement, Military, and
Firefighting.
Summit Leadership Academy wanted to stay true to its origins while broadening their appeal to a
wider audience. Adjustments were made to tone down the aggressiveness of the original logo while
maintaining the pride and courage that is associated with eagle iconography. The new logo retains
the badge framing to pay homage to the courage of the military and first responders. Inspired by the
nearby mountain range of the San Bernardino Forest, we brought the Summit name to life, cresting
the badge with mountain peaks. By streamlining the color palette to blue and yellow, a striking
balance is used to both simplify and professionalize the imagery.
By using our Brand Strategy Service, in June 2023, Summit Leadership Academy is currently transitioning into their new look.
